Our house is limited with closet space, so I looked for furniture ideas to maximize our storage. Armoires seem to fit the bill because they take up less floor space, but allow your storage to move up instead of out. I found this one at an almost antique store, and all it needed was a fresh coat of white paint! Both sides have a hanging bar on the inside that offer lots of additional needed closet space, and the mirrors sure come in handy! If you're interested in seeing more recycled antiques, check out my group!

Beautiful!
1Redhot--wish I had it--
2I love the mirrors! And the armoire!
3I love white armoires but now I'm nosy, what do you have in there? I want to rifle through!
4Love armoires, but they are pricey around the NJ/NY area even in "junk" shops.
5My mother-in-law has one that she is going to give me one of these days. I will definitely paint it and put on new hardware, as it's a faded walnut.
If junk/antique stores are pricey, try something like a Craig's List or area newspaper...people need to clean out furniture all the time. Also, estate sales are a good idea too!
I have out of season clothes and old formals in mine, Ava Gardner!
6I could use an armorie. I love the mirrors on this. It gives a illusion that it is part of the wall until you look down and see the feet on the armorie.
