I found this corner chair at a local antique store. (Please note Frankie serves as my Vanna White!) I have already touched up the nicks and I'm searching for new fabric. The springs are completely shot in one area and they sag (gravity can be harsh!) I'll send it off to my upholstery person and post the results later!
Bottega Veneta
Oh my gosh! I love love love it! I love
1unique pieces like that!
So do I, Leopardcc! I had to have it. I plan to change the color...although I actually like this color, it doesn't match anything in my house, so I plan to change to either tan/gold it an aqua!
2You know when I saw it I thouht aqua would look amazing
3as the fabric color!
Great minds think alike...I'm leaning towards aqua...it is such a soothing color!
4The tone of the wood would really stand out
5next to aqua! I love seeing old furniture
given a new life!
Plus Frankie would look lovely on aqua! hee hee
6Me, too! Most of the nicer, older stuff actually is better quality! I prefer having one-of-a-kind pieces by changing them up. I've never seen a chair exactly like this before, so it should qualify for that category!
You know what! I can see into the future (figuratively speaking), and can see pictures of my grandchildren sitting on this...and I'm not near that point in life!
7Aw that is a sweet thought! Wee little grandbaby cuties on the
8awesome chair!
I'm a little corny that way!
9I can not wait to see the finish project!
10oh wow. I love that chair! I wish I could find one just like it.
114BYRDS, I loved it too! I had never seen one exactly like that before! I can't wait to have it recovered! I'm still looking for the right aqua blue fabric!
